Full Size Cooking Instructions

Crockpot/Slow Cooker

If frozen, thaw in refrigerator. Pour roast and sauce into slow cooker. Cook on low 7 to 8 hours.

Remove from slow cooker and slice thinly. Return to au jus and serve immediately, or allow to slow cook and soak for up to an hour.

Half Size Cooking Instructions

We strongly recommend cooking the entire roast at once and freezing half of the cooked meat for later. It freezes beautifully and will turn into a quick meal for next time!

However, if you want to cook it half at a time, the cooking instructions are exactly the same.

Serving Suggestions

Make sandwiches with artisan bread or rolls. You may even want to toast your bread under the broiler--keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn! When it's almost done, take your bread out of the oven and place a slice of provolone on each sandwich. Return to the broiler and melt cheese. Serve with a cup of your delicious au jus.

Pair your sandwiches with potato wedges or fries, chips, coleslaw, or green salad.
