Strawberry Lassi is a refreshing blend of fresh strawberries and yoghurt--a beautiful compliment to our Indian dishes. You can also swap out the Strawberry for the more traditional Mango Lassi.
How to make it:
Remove stems and purée strawberries with sugar, cardamom, and a pinch of salt in a blender until smooth.
Add yogurt and ice, then purée until smooth again. Makes 5 cups.
Swap out strawberries for mango for a different flavor!
1 lb strawberries
½ cup sugar
Rounded ¼ tsp ground cardamom
Pinch of salt
2 cups plain yoghurt
1 cup ice cubes
